These guide rods are thicker than the stock guide rod and provide a decisive advantage for all Glock owners by including a thick stainless steel body that adds extra weight to mitigate recoil and completely removes "guide rod flex". NDZ guide rods also include a hex screw removable tip which allows the user to calibrate the firearm by installing recoil springs with various spring weights. 
 
These premium springs are manufactured exclusively with certified aerospace specification alloys, stainless or chrome silicon; then heat treated, shot peened, and stress relieved after winding to enhance performance and durability. NDZ guide rods are much stronger than the stock plastic guide rods installed on the Glock and will never chip or break, even during heavy use. Our guide rods will never damage your polymer frame and are guaranteed to provide a lifetime of reliable service.

The thick heavyweight construction features a larger shaft diameter with a carefully balanced custom chrome silicon flat wire spring and adds weight to the front of your pistol to help mitigate recoil during firing.
More than twice (2.4x) as heavy as the stock Glock guide rod: OEM - 0.7 oz. (19.80 g), Heavyweight - 1.6 oz. (45.30 g).
Springs are designed with closed ends to reduce any side load, resulting in more reliable, smoother operation and consistency with every shot.

The guide rod screw features a double Allen wrench design and is easily removable for maintenance, and comes in a variety of colors to customize the look of your firearm.
